About Me

Gerry Geneva

Hi there. I’m Gerry.  I’m so happy you found my blog and I hope you get a lot from it.   As a husband and father to an amazing family I had plenty of motivation to beat adrenal fatigue.

I started this blog as a resource and a community for those suffering the debilitating symptoms of adrenal fatigue.  As I suffered through adrenal fatigue, one of the issues I constantly faced was that there was very little good information on the internet about what I was going through.

I even found that my doctor didn’t have much to say about what was going on with my body.   How could he, medical schools still don’t teach much about the adrenal glands except for the extremes of cushings disease or addison’s disease.  As soon as my doctor suggested I take strong anti-depressants, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands.  At that point I became absolutely certain of two things: 1) I didn’t have depression therefore there was no reason for me to take those pills.  2) My doctor didn’t know anything about adrenal fatigue so if I was going to recover, it was entirely up to me.

For me that didn’t mean avoiding doctors all together.  I am smart enough to know there are plenty of good doctors out there. In fact, in my life I have benefited from the care of several amazing doctors.  It just meant that ultimately I had to take responsibility for my own health.  As well intentioned as everyone was, no one quite knew what I was experiencing and no one was quite as concerned about me as I was.  Maybe you know the feeling.

Even though you hear the common statistic that 80% of people in industrialized countries suffer from or have suffered from some form of adrenal fatigue, I was just one person, and I needed information relevant to me and my struggle.

As an avid reader and as an obsessive student, I was lucky enough to stumble across some amazing information about adrenal fatigue and how to overcome it.  These techniques restored my health and gave me back my life. This website is dedicated to making these techniques known as well as revealing continually advancing findings on the subjects of health, nutrition, sleep, and best practices for those with the daunting challenge of beating adrenal fatigue.

Adrenal fatigue is tough, but it can be beat.  I did it and I’m so glad I did!  The payoff is worth it so stick to it!

Get better so you can get back to living your life!  Good luck.

Gerry
